It’s a tightly woven bundle or bud made from dried green, white, or red tea leaves. Fragrant flowers like jasmine, camellia, peony, rose, chrysanthemum, or calendula are artfully tied inside. Each one is crafted by hand by skilled Chinese artisans (a single bundle takes up to 10 minutes). They come in shapes like balls, rings, hearts, lanterns, fish, or even dragons.
